Lead Software Architect

Millions of passengers every year check in their suitcases in one airport and receive them in another. To make this possible, we have established a software organization of more than 175 specialists dedicated to creating these integrated baggage handling systems. 

As our new Lead Architect in Software Solutions you will work both strategic and hands -on: you will collaborate closely with R&D, Software Products, and Project Delivery to align architecture across teams and to ensure coherence, quality, and long term- maintainability. 

Develop and lead our long-term strategy 

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Develop and lead a decoupling strategy that supports modularity and long-term stability between Products and Projects 
• Facilitate architectural forum for upcoming products that ensures compliance with SW Product vision. 
• Coordinate architectural activities across departments and facilitate an internal architectural forum. 
• Review and design high-level solution concepts for new and existing products. 
• Assess and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and practices. 
• Support development of technology roadmaps and transitions from legacy to modern architectures. 

Experience with Software suite environments 

We expect you to already having experience as a Software Architect, Lead Software Developer or Technical Lead in a software suite environment, being able to bridge the old ways of working with new ways of working in a constructive manner. 

Besides that we expect you to: 

• Have a strong background in API design(or equivalent), system integration, and modular architectural principles. 
• Be a strong communicator with great stakeholder management skills. 
• Be experienced in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing practices. 
• Fluent in English – Danish is an advantage.
