We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Lead Server** to join our hospitality team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager, you will supervise our front-of-house service team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily operations. As a Lead Server, you will lead by example, maintain our brand standards, and foster a positive, inclusive team environment where hospitality excellence is the standard. • Lead and supervise the front-of-house service team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service and ensure smooth daily restaurant operations
• Maintain the highest standards of hospitality and ensure all team members adhere to brand and restaurant service standards
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to develop a skilled, motivated, and cohesive team
• Mentor and coach servers in professionalism, teamwork, and the delivery of consistent, high-quality service
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and management teams to coordinate service flow and resolve guest issues promptly and effectively
• Monitor and analyze guest feedback related to dining service, implementing strategies for continuous improvement
• Support revenue management initiatives by maximizing table turnover and effectively upselling menu and beverage items
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and restaurant policies and procedures at all times
• Foster team engagement and growth through ongoing training, coaching, and transparent communication
• Maintain accurate daily reports, service logs, and documentation to support operational excellence
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and inclusivity, creating a welcoming environment for diverse guests and team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager to support operational needs and exceptional guest service
**Required Qualifications:**
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional server experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a front-of-house environment
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and guest experience management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and support team members
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Knowledge of food safety and health and safety compliance standards
• Physical stamina and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate cultural awareness
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience in fine dining, upscale, or high-volume restaurant establishments
• Food safety certification or ServSafe certification
• Hospitality management or leadership certification
• Knowledge of beverage service and wine pairing basics
• Experience with inventory management and cost control
• Bilingual capabilities (English and Arabic preferred for Dubai location)
• Previous experience training and developing hospitality staff
• Familiarity with guest management systems and reservation platforms
