Lead SAP Fiori / UI5 Frontend Engineer - Cloud & BTP m/f/d

As a Lead Lead SAP Fiori / UI5 Frontend Engineer – Cloud & BTP m/f/d, you will take a central role in designing and developing intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for SAP-based applications. You’ll lead a small team of developers and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions within SAP BTP environments. Your expertise in SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements will be key to driving innovation and usability across our products.

As part of our agile development teams, you will:

• Lead and mentor a small team of UI developers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Design, develop, and maintain UI components using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements.
• Work within SAP BTP environments to build robust and scalable applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and accessibility of UI applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
• Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model cloud native software development or equivalent.
• Some previous experience with ABAP Cloud programming, particularly CDS Views .
• Proven experience in SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements (expert level).
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP environments and cloud-based development.
• Demonstrated experience in leading small development teams.
• Solid general knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English.
