We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Receiver to join our operations team in Kenner, United States. In this supervisory role, you will oversee all receiving operations, manage a team of receiving associates, and ensure the smooth flow of inventory into our facility. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, operational expertise, and the ability to lead by example while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and safety.
• Supervise and coordinate daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments
• Lead, train, and mentor receiving team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards
• Verify accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and shipping documentation
• Maintain detailed receiving records and inventory documentation using warehouse management systems
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with incoming shipments
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to optimize receiving processes
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as receiving accuracy, throughput, and safety metrics
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures
• Conduct regular audits of receiving areas to maintain organization and cleanliness standards
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse or receiving operations
• 2 or more years in a supervisory, lead, or team lead capacity
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
• Strong knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory management, and logistics operations
• Valid driver's license 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and identify operational trends
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Physical ability to perform warehouse duties and stand for extended periods
