Lead Product Manager

We’re looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager with strong technical depth and experience in SaaS to help us build the next generation of media management APIs. You will shape how global brands create, manage, adapt, and distribute digital assets at scale.

Responsibilities::
• Define the next generations of Cloudinary’s services to expand our leadership in image and video management.
• Create detailed product requirements for new features, API capabilities, SDK interfaces, and development framework integrations.
• Partner closely with other Cloudinary product groups to evolve and scale the Platform Media Management APIs.
• Lead the integration of AI capabilities, including generative media, intelligent automation, and next-generation Cloudinary AI Agents for developers and enterprise workflows.
• Build and maintain a product roadmap aligned with product leadership and the company’s executive strategy.
• Work directly with customers to improve adoption, understand use cases, and influence roadmap and product direction.
• Conduct continuous analysis of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform future product decisions.
• Define and track key product metrics that guide product success and prioritization.
• Collaborate with internal and external R&D stakeholders, Technical Writing, UI/UX, Customer Success, Solutions, Support, and Marketing.
• Serve as a core member of the Product team, becoming the subject matter expert and a strong advocate for the Cloudinary Developer Community.

Requirements::
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Architect of modern web applications and services.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager responsible for a SaaS product.
• Strong understanding of the full product lifecycle: strategy, definition, UX/UI, engineering, QA, and delivery.
• Highly technical, with hands-on experience in modern web technologies and complex architectures.
• High proficiency in AI-driven workflows - including the use of LLMs, AI-assisted coding tools, and generative AI - with the ability to adopt emerging AI capabilities early and leverage them to increase team velocity and product innovation.
• Genuine Agile mindset and experience driving Agile processes to improve collaboration and delivery.
• Quick learner with strong decision-making ability in complex and dynamic environments.
• Naturally curious, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.

Nice to Have::
• Experience managing Product-Led Growth (PLG) products.
• Familiarity with developer-first ecosystems, complex API platforms, and media management solutions.
