Lead Product Designer

Pitch’s mission is to change the way people craft, deliver, and share presentations, and design is at the heart of that ambition. As a Lead Product Designer at Pitch, you’ll not only shape experiences that empower teams to tell their stories beautifully and effectively but also lead the craft of design across the product — raising standards, championing consistency, and inspiring excellence in every interaction.

You’ll work across disciplines to transform complex challenges into elegant, intuitive solutions, influencing both product direction and the broader design culture at Pitch.

What you’ll do

• Lead design craft across product areas: Own end-to-end design for key initiatives - from discovery and research to polished, production-ready experiences - setting a benchmark for quality and detail.
• Elevate design standards: Evolve our design system, interaction patterns, and visual language to ensure clarity, consistency, accessibility, and delight across Pitch.
• Influence and mentor through craft: Inspire designers across the team through design critiques, collaborate ideation, and shared standards - focussing on craft, mastery, not people management.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Leadership to align solutions with user needs and business goals, advocating for elegant and user-centered design decisions.
• Prototype and validate with intent: Use rapid prototyping, user feedback, and iteration to explore possibilities and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Shape the design culture: Contribute to documentation and shared processes that raise the bar for design excellence across Pitch.

Requirements:
• Extensive experience designing digital products, ideally in SaaS, productivity, or collaborative tools.
• Expertise in end-to-end product design, from early discovery, research, and information architecture to high-fidelity UI and interactive prototyping.
• Exceptional visual design sensibility paired with a deep understanding of interaction and UX principles.
• A passion for craft and quality, knowing when to balance perfection with pragmatism to ship impactful products.
• Experience designing features powered by generative AI, comfortable translating complex AI interactions into intuitive experiences for non-technical users.
• Proficiency in Figma and comfortable working in code or prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to articulate design decisions and influence cross-functional teams.
• Thrive in collaborative, iterative, and remote-first environments, contributing to asynchronous workflows.

Bonus points if you have experience with presentation tools, collaboration software, or a passion for helping people tell compelling stories visually.
