The Lead – Process Excellence role operates within the Group Internal Audit function and is responsible for driving the Advisory and Process Excellence charter at the group level. This position is accountable for shaping and executing the internal audit process excellence agenda, delivering value-driven insights, and providing advisory support across multiple business units.
Acting as a senior stakeholder-facing leader, the role partners closely with the Group Head – Internal Audit, Heads of Audit across businesses, and senior leadership teams to conduct project-specific and thematic reviews across critical business areas such as supply chain, capital expenditure, project governance, quality, commercial governance, and technology enablement.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Define and lead the Group-level Process Excellence strategy aligned with Internal Audit objectives.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact improvement initiatives across business functions.
• Establish standardized methodologies, frameworks, and toolkits to drive process improvement and audit effectiveness.
• Ensure alignment with Group and Business Internal Audit strategy, risk frameworks, and assurance priorities.
• Conduct thematic and project-specific reviews across manufacturing and operational value chains.
• Remove execution roadblocks, including data access issues, cross-functional dependencies, and approval bottlenecks.
• Review and validate audit observations and recommendations to ensure practicality and impact.
• Translate audit findings into measurable business-impact commitments with clear ownership and defined timelines.
• Engage with CXOs, functional heads, and transformation leaders to build strong advisory relationships.
• Drive adoption of recommendations by process owners and ensure sustainable implementation.
• Institutionalize improvements through updated SOPs, strengthened controls, structured training, and defined accountability mechanisms.
