Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher (Full-Time)

š° $13ā$21/hour (based on experience, education, and responsibilities)
Imaginative Beginnings-Maumee is seeking a full-time Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood, values play-based learning, and wants a stable, consistent schedule in a supportive center environment.
Most positions follow a typical daytime schedule (ex: 8:00amā5:00pm) within our center hours of 5:30amā5:30pm.

š¶ Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Teacher, you will:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
Create and carry out lesson plans aligned with center philosophy and state standards
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Observe and document childrenās growth and development
Build strong, respectful relationships with families
Communicate daily with parents regarding childrenās needs and progress
Maintain required classroom records (attendance, lesson plans, daily reports)
Collaborate with team members to ensure program quality and consistency
š Qualifications
Required:
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, AED, Child Abuse Prevention)
Preferred (not required):
Previous experience in a childcare or early childhood setting
Associateās degree in Early Childhood Education
Experience working with infants and/or toddlers
Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to actively supervise children throughout the day
