We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Modeler – Team Leader to lead the development and coordination of BIM-based plumbing and MEP models for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. This role involves overseeing plumbing modeling activities, guiding technical teams, and ensuring the accurate development of design documentation for commercial, institutional, and public-sector facilities. The position requires a strong understanding of building services engineering combined with hands-on expertise in BIM tools used for plumbing and MEP design. As a team leader, you will play a key role in coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure plumbing systems are effectively integrated into overall building designs. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation while ensuring compliance with project standards and engineering best practices. In addition to modeling responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers and modelers, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to project timelines. You will also contribute to design discussions, feasibility studies, and project coordination meetings to support efficient project delivery. Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing modeling and BIM coordination activities for building and infrastructure projects
• Develop detailed plumbing and drainage system models using industry-standard BIM tools
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation, and construction-ready plumbing models
• Support the design and development of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and educational facilities
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, architectural, and MEP engineers
• Facilitate preparation of technical specifications, reports, and engineering documentation
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and assist in planning plumbing and drainage systems
• Review design deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and project quality requirements
• Guide and mentor junior modelers and engineers to ensure consistent modeling practices and technical development
• Participate in project coordination meetings and contribute to resolving technical design challenges

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 10–12 years of experience in plumbing design, BIM modeling, or MEP engineering projects
• Strong hands-on experience with BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering (B.E or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of plumbing and drainage system design for building projects
• Experience preparing construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams in engineering projects
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams in design or BIM environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex engineering challenges
