About the Roles
As part of our continued growth, we’re expanding our Platform Engineering capability and are looking for two Lead-level Azure Platform / DevOps Engineers (Contract) to join us.

These contract roles are suited to experienced platform engineers who can hit the ground running, designing and evolving secure, scalable Azure platforms using Infrastructure as Code. You’ll be brought in to help establish strong platform foundations, uplift automation, and enable delivery teams through clear patterns and guardrails.

You’ll work closely with engineers, product teams, and technical leaders to design and operate modern, IaC-driven Azure platforms that are reusable, opinionated, and easy for teams to consume.

You’ll be hands-on with modern Azure and DevOps tooling while also providing technical leadership and influencing platform standards and ways of working across teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining Azure platforms using Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform.
• Creating and owning automation-first CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
• Developing reusable modules, templates, pipelines, and platform guardrails
• Partnering with engineering and delivery teams to enable self-service infrastructure and consistent environments
• Improving platform reliability, security, and operability through automation and standardisation
• Providing technical leadership across multiple teams and initiatives
• Influencing engineering practices and platform adoption — beyond just implementing tools

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Platform / DevOps Engineer in Azure (senior or lead level)
• Deep, hands-on expertise with Terraform (IaC); Terragrunt experience highly regarded
• Strong experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling
• Solid understanding of Azure services, networking, identity, and governance
• Proven ability to work effectively in contract engagements and deliver impact quickly
• Comfortable operating across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Consulting or multi-team environment experience (nice to have)
• AWS experience is a bonus, but Azure is the primary platform
