Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Node.js Full-Stack Engineer with React to join our team!

Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript)

• Migrating legacy services to new technologies

• Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web)

• Running user profile services to store and manage user data

• Be able to communicate with UX Designer to challenge hard-to-implement design elements and agree with them on lower-effort alternatives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial TypeScript in Node.js development experience

• React / HTML / good CSS skills

• DevOps experience

• Great interpersonal and communication skills

• Upper-Intermediate level of English is a must

• Java experience - nice to have

• Experience with AWS (Dynamo DB, EKS, RDS) - nice to have
