We are looking for a Tech Lead/Architect Mobile Engineer to join our engineering team and help build high-impact mobile experiences used daily by millions of users. You’ll play a key role in shaping the evolution of a large-scale consumer mobile platform, partnering closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver polished, reliable, and delightful app experiences across iOS and Android

About You:

Experience Level: Lead

Technical Skills:

• 6+ years of commercial experience with React Native (iOS, Android) and expert-level TypeScript/JavaScript

• Deep knowledge of the React Native ecosystem, including:

• Build processes

• Performance optimisation

• Monitoring & LiveOps

• Native module integration

• Strong understanding of React rendering behavior and frontend best practices

• Experience with modern mobile tooling such as Expo, monorepos, and robust CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to cloud and infrastructure environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services)

• Ability to accurately translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect implementations, including animations and microinteractions

• Solid understanding of how mobile apps interact with backend systems and web technologies

Mobile Engineering & Best Practices:

• Ownership of end-to-end mobile feature development for iOS and Android

• Experience working on large-scale, consumer-facing applications

• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and release stability

• Experience in establishing or improving coding standards and CI/CD maturity

• Ability to balance innovation with performance, reliability, and maintainability

Leadership & Mindset:

• Proven experience providing technical guidance and mentorship

• Strong drive toward Engineering Excellence

• Action-oriented with a focus on shipping meaningful product improvements

• Deep care for user experience and building delightful, high-quality products

• Comfortable working in cross-functional, product-driven environments

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus point for:

• Experience working with agentic coding tools or LLM-assisted development workflows

• Exposure to native iOS or Android development beyond React Native

• Experience contributing to shared platform architecture or mobile foundations
