• Lead the development and integration of mechanical systems for transportation platforms and products
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, CAD designers, and suppliers
• Ensure design compliance with technical requirements, validation, and certification processes
• Supervise and coordinate a mechanical design team (MDEs, CAD Designers, and potentially other MLEs)
• Ensure proper design governance, documentation, and ERP system integration
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the mechanical integration domain
• Lead mechanical installation development and integration activities
• Manage design requirements and ensure conformity for validation and certification
• Drive interface definition, space allocation, and installation part design
• Supervise design teams and foster technical collaboration
• Support first-installation reviews and production phases
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience or strong understanding of mechanical engineering applied to the transportation sector
• Knowledge of design requirements, validation, and certification processes
• Familiarity with interface definition, space allocation, and installation part design
• OIQ membership is an asset
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
