We are seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician in Memphis, TN with a salary range of $60,000–$80,000 per year. This full-time position requires 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation and integration. The Lead Low Voltage Technician will play a key role in delivering high-quality systems integration for a growing electrical and systems contractor in Memphis. Candidates should have hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, structured cabling, and system integration. This role is based in Memphis, TN and requires onsite work, working closely with team members and clients in the Memphis area.
Responsibilities:
• Lead installation and integration of low voltage systems, including security, audio/visual, and networking solutions, in Memphis projects.
• Oversee field technicians to ensure work meets project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of low voltage systems.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure proper system setup and configuration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, wiring diagrams, and system testing results.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and company safety policies.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to build team expertise.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation and integration.
• Proficiency with structured cabling, security systems, A/V integration, and networking.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., BICSI, NICET, or manufacturer-specific credentials).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex systems.
• Ability to manage multiple installations and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
