Required Skills
Job Description
We are currently growing our team and looking for a strong, experienced artist to strengthen our existing environment art team..
We already have a solid foundation, but we need a Lead Level Artist who can come in and actively raise the quality bar - both through their own work and by elevating those around them.
This is not a pure management role. We are not looking for someone who only reviews, delegates, or attends meetings. Instead, we need a hands-on leader who genuinely wants to model environments, perform set dressing, and build levels in the engine - while helping the team grow through example and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Level Designers and Art Director to maintain visual quality and gameplay clarity.
• Help develop our current team by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices.
• Model environment assets (modular pieces, props, terrain elements, hero assets).
• Perform set dressing yourself: composition, storytelling through props, decals, and scene staging.
• Work inside the engine to build and polish level art on a daily basis.
• Ensure technical performance (LODs, draw calls, memory) without sacrificing visual ambition.
• Proactively fill gaps in modular kits with your own high-quality models.
• Review team members' work constructively.
What we are looking for
• You want to model and dress environments, not just direct others.
• You lead by doing. The team respects you because they see you in the trenches.
• You are excited about helping a team grow, not just doing your own work in isolation.
Requirements:
• 5+ years in environment art / level art for games.
Strong portfolio showing both:
• Your own environment modeling
• Your set dressing work
Technical Skills:
• Strong modeling skills (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
• Game engine proficiency: Unreal 5 or Unity.
• PBR, texture creation (Substance), and optimization.
Benefits:
• Medical Care package
• MyCafeteria system - including Multisport card and more
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offering confidential legal, financial, and personal counseling
• English or Polish language classes
• Sensibly flexible working hours
• Breakfasts, snacks and fruits available during the day, tea and coffee machines
• Additional benefits: care bonus to cover health, educational and safety needs, corporate parties and team buildings
