Lead JavaScript Fullstack Engineer (with AI experience)

N-iX is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead JavaScript Full-stack Engineer to drive the development of our client’s next-generation products, with a strong emphasis on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), experimenting with R&D, and robust UI platform development. This role requires a technically proficient leader and seasoned R&D designer capable of driving innovation across the entire software stack.

Our Client is the largest engineering company in Europe, and holds the position of global market leader in industrial AI, automation, and industrial software.
Become a part of Client’s innovation department, which is creating and managing cutting-edge technical architectures, serving as a shared platform for research and development within Client's large organization. It primarily focuses on research and development, including broad incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud-based software, high-performance computing, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and launch the technical planning and execution of complex projects, ensuring successful AI incorporation.

• Define and enforce best practices for software development, testing, and deployment, with a focus on AI/MLOps workflows.

• Spearhead the integration of AI components and models into the SDLC, product architecture, and deployment pipelines to enhance functionality and development efficiency.

• Architect and design scalable, high-performance, and maintainable full-stack solutions

• Conduct research & development in compliance with business requirements.

• Design, implement, and optimize data schemas

• Consult on the development of highly responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces and a reusable UI platform.

• Implement and manage AI agents' infrastructure and supporting services as agentic skills.

• Manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code specifically within AWS

• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams on AI integration best practices.

• Collaborate with Architects, Product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate the UI Platform and AI requirements into technical specifications.

• Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.

• Robust experience in Research & Development (R&D), translating cutting-edge technology into production systems.

• Strong proficiency in using AI tooling for rapid development and SDLC enhancements

• Experience incorporating AI models/services (e.g., LLMs, Computer Vision) into production software, hands-on with Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot.

• Strong proficiency with component-based frameworks and SSR (Next.js/React, Vue.js, Angular)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting services

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready code.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• English - B2 or C

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• AWS certifications

• Typescript, Node.js (with Express/NestJS), Java or Python (with Django/Flask), RESTful API design and implementation

• UI Platform Development experience, Stencil.js, Storybook

• MLOps principles and tools
