Job Location: Chandivali -Mumbai
Experience: 1-5Years.
Working Days: 6 Days a week
Job Description
We are looking for iOS engineers who know their shit, or can learn their shit and bring it into practice, owning the iOS app and not resting till it is perfected. You are someone who has an irrational need for pixel perfection both in UI as well as performance.
Looking for engineers who are passionate about delivering optimal mobile experience for users and are in love with the iOS operating system and hardware that the iPhone has bestowed upon us. Some call you an Apple fanboy, maybe you prefer enthusiast -- either way there’s some truth to it. We won’t care. We’ll call you whichever you prefer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deeply involved with product and tech leadership to conceptualize product features
- Building the main iOS app from scratch including the UI as well as functionalities
- Setting up the structure and framework that future iOS developers can come in and follow for rapid and efficient development
- Forming and leading the iOS development team
- Building the additional future platforms (community app, chat agents mobile app, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Primarily
- Confidence in your own ability and a relentless fire to make anything possible
- Willingness to learn and humility to accept your own shortcomings
- An efficient team player and collaborate with other teams
- Have at least one app live on the app store (and it doesn’t suck)
- Fun to be around with a sense of humor
- Some fascination for traveling
Stuff everyone talks about
- 1+ experience in iOS development
- Knowledge of iOS frameworks like Core Data, Core Location, Mapkit, Foundation, etc.
- Experience utilizing web API's within iOS applications
- Experience with popular SDKs like Google Maps, Google Analytics, Facebook, etc.
- Understanding of Objective-C multithreading, Grand Central Dispatch and Blocks
- Or if you believe is Swift is the future, proficiency with this new entrant
- Experience with Cocoa Pods library manager
