Job Overview

As a Lead Generation Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in fueling the growth of Sequel’s customer base. In this entry-level inside sales position, you’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective patients and caregivers to generate qualified leads for the sales team. You will be the first point of contact for many future customers, helping to educate them about Sequel’s insulin delivery technology and uncovering how we can best support their needs.

This role requires west coast-based candidates who can work 9am-6pm Pacific time.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
• Outbound Sales Calls: Make 60+ outbound sales calls per day to customers who have shown interest in the twiist device, explaining product benefits and how twiist compares to competitors.

• Inbound Call Management: Manage incoming queue calls, addressing customer inquiries and providing information about products and services.

• Transition qualified leads to appropriate sales team members and provide lead context for a smooth transition.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

• Collaborate with Inside Sales Manager and marketing to follow up on campaigns and events and share lead insights.

• Provide timely and professional responses to general product inquiries.

• Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and lead conversion goals.

• Build a strong understanding of Sequel’s product offering and value proposition.

• Participate in ongoing training to continuously improve diabetes knowledge, sales skills, and product expertise.

Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in a healthcare or business-related field a plus.

• 0-2 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or healthcare outreach role. Previous inside sales or call center experience is a plus.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.

• Passion for improving the lives of people with diabetes.

• Ability to convey complex information to prospective customers

• Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce) is a plus but not required.

• Knowledge of diabetes or medical device industry is a plus but not required.
