Job Description

Vanguard Matrix Inc., is a Canadian software company that provide custom software development, ready-made products, consultancy and outsourcing services.

Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to use the latest technologies and bring to life beautiful UX designs through elegant programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce a stable working application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and with our awesome full stack team, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Skills And Qualifications

1. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

2. Rockstar at client-side JavaScript and proficient in JQuery

3. Expertise in asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX and CORS

4. Good understanding of popular frameworks such as AngularJS.

5. Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop or Gimp is a plus.

6. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

1. 2+ years experience in mentioned platforms

2. Experience within an IT and/or Education background

3. Good in English
