What is this position about?

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Terraform Specialist to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion. The role is focused on improving scalability and efficiency of the client’s Terraform infrastructure. The role will focus on the design and maintenance of Terraform modules, optimizing platform workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure automation.

Job Description

• Audit and refactor Terraform codebase to ensure consistency in versions and best practices.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS components like S3, ECS, and RDS.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and cloud teams to resolve infrastructure challenges.
• Improve performance and reliability of Terraform Cloud workflows, with focus on scalability
• and security.
• Write and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for modules and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Terraform-related issues across environments.
• Promote automation and standardized workflows within the organization.
• Mentor team members and foster Terraform and IaC skill development.
• Continuously research and apply new industry trends in infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Terraform, including module design and Terraform Cloud workflows.

• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, ECS, and RDS.

• Experience managing and upgrading Terraform and provider versions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

• Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities in complex cloud environments.

• Experience writing thorough and well-structured documentation.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Full professional proficiency in English is required.
