We are looking for a passionate NLP enthusiast who will be leading the Data Science division and core development of our AI Platform that will ideate products of the future. As the lead Data Scientist, you will be working hand in hand with the CTO on the toughest and most challenging problems in NLP handling multiple Asian languages and context identification using public data that includes social media. You will get the opportunity to work on Generative text algorithms and add feathers of patents and trade secrets to your cap.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the millions of public data points to identify trends and gather
insights.
- Leverage the power of Generative text algorithms to create new product
concepts.
- Iterative improvements to the existing features as well as development of
new features.
- Work closely with the Platform Engineering Team to deploy the AI models.
- Build & grow your own data science team
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics,
Engineering or related fields.
- Prior experience of 3+ years in industrial data science related to NLP
- Familiarity with one or more of the open source NLP frameworks (NLTK,
SpaCy, ELMo, BERT, ULMFiT, ERNIE)
- Significant previous hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks
such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch.
- Proficiency in Python programming in accordance with Software
- Development standards, including version control (git) and managing
production codebase.
IDEAL
- PhD in Computer Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or
related fields.
- Experience in computational linguistic theory
- Prior work experience with social media data (twitter, instagram, reddit,
blogs, etc.)
- Previous experience with Cloud Platforms especially with one out of AWS,
GCP, Azure, etc.
