About the Role: We're looking for a highly experienced and strategic Lead Data Scientist to lead our growing team. You will be responsible for defining the overall AI strategy for delivering a roadmap, leading the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions, and mentoring a team of talented data scientists. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall AI strategy for a complete line of business roadmap.
• Lead a team of data scientists to execute and deliver the roadmap.
• Oversee the development and implementation of machine learning models for multiple use-cases.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI innovation.
• Measure and communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives to the organization.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI and machine learning, ensuring Banque Misr remains a leader in the field.

Requirements:
Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science with 2+ years of leadership experience
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing of complex AI applications.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data engineering.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Significant relevant experience in the applied AI in the financial sector or other relevant lines of business.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex and dynamic environment.

Desirable Skills:

· M.Sc. in related field is a plus.

· Understands trade-offs between model accuracy, business impact, and deployment speed

• Experience with MLOps principles and tools.
• Experience with different data platforms.
