To strengthen our management team in Northern Germany, we are looking for a Lead Cost Manager (m/f/d) for our offices in Braunschweig and Hamburg.

Your Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will take on strategic and operational responsibility for cost management in complex construction projects for our renowned clients from both the private and public sectors, including industrial, commercial, hospital, and school buildings.
• You will lead and develop our regional cost management teams in Braunschweig and Hamburg, ensuring quality and performance.
• Together with your team, you will ensure consistent and effective cost management across all project phases, from prequalification through cost planning, control, and forecasting to change order management.
• You will actively manage change processes and monitor cost deviations.
• In your interface role, you will work closely with internal project teams and external partners, ensuring transparency, budget compliance, and cost-optimized project execution.

 

• You have a degree in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, quantity surveying, or a comparable field.
• With at least ten years of professional experience in project management or project control and solid expertise in construction cost management, you are familiar with the challenges of complex construction projects.
• You are a strong leader with experience in client-facing roles, team motivation and leadership, and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
• You have excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Fluency in German and English as well as willingness to travel between our offices in Braunschweig and Hamburg complete your profile.
