We ae seeking a Data Project Lead with strong delivery experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence and Machine Learning deployments. You will provide stewardship over the design, development and delivery of complex digital analytics projects from initiation to closure. To achieve this, you will need to be a leader who can articulate a compelling vision to your client and team and ensure that this vision is delivered through all stages of the project.

You should also have a healthy appetite for exploring new technology and developing business cases to support enterprise-wide data analytics solutions.

What we seek to accomplish together:

• Oversee the implementation of data analytics strategy for a client organization, and provide team leadership as well as guidance and coaching to a Data & AI delivery squad.
• Client-facing interaction including providing analyses, recommendations, presentations and advice to clients.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams that combine technical, business and data science competencies to deliver work in both waterfall or agile software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
• Engage senior client and partner stakeholders for regular monitoring and sharing of project progress and provide guidance to the project team on key project risks and issues.
• Oversee team management including budgets, forecasting, work allocations and staffing.
• Drive effective performance management practices within the department in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate an acute ability in project risks and issue management and provide guidance on key project and design decisions in project steering committee meetings.
• Build a team of high performing, motivated and committed data analytics professionals as part of practice-building and center management leadership role.

A little about yourself

• Minimum of bachelor's degree required in related field, strong preference for fields of study in the engineering, computer science, statistics or analytics
• More than 8 years of experience leading an Analytics consulting team OR experience with leading one or more MNCs through the journey to becoming a data-driven organization.
• More than 10 years of experience implementing a broad range of Analytics/Business Intelligence projects such as Data Governance and Management, visualizing KPIs on business dashboards an applying advanced analytics/data science techniques to realize business values
• Possess hands-on experience with one or more of the following Analytics technology stacks as well as familiarity with a broad range of solutions for visualization, advanced analytics, data ingestion/transformation, storage and hosting and willingness to learn new ones on the job.
• Data Management & Storage: Talend, Denodo, Alation, Oracle Data Warehousing, IBM InfoSphere, Microsoft SQL Server, Hortonworks Data Platform, Cloudera, MinIO
• Data Visualization: Qlik, Neo4j, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise, IBM Cognos, MicroStrategy, SAS etc
• Statistical/Data Science Tools: H2O.ai, Dataiku, SPSS, R, Python, Jupiter
• Project management certifications such as PMP, Agile, ITIL.
• Proven track record in program management around integration, scope, cost, time, resource, quality, risk, procurement, communication and stakeholder management.
