Lead Child Care Teacher - ECE credits required

At Inspiration Station, we are looking for a Lead Teacher who takes ownership of their classroom, leads with consistency, and takes pride in creating a structured, engaging environment for children. This is a role for someone  values professionalism, growth, and making a meaningful impact—not just completing daily tasks. 

What You’ll Do

- Lead your classroom with confidence and consistency
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Create and maintain structured routines and expectations
- Ensure all health, safety, and licensing standards are met
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Support and guide assistant teachers in the classroom

- Reliable and consistently on time
- Organized and proactive
- Engaged and present (no phone use in the classroom)
- Strong communicator and team leader
- Patient, positive, and solution-focused
- Committed to integrity and a genuine passion for children

This Is NOT for You If…

- You struggle with attendance or punctuality
- You are not comfortable taking ownership of a classroom
- You prefer minimal responsibility
- You are not fully engaged throughout the day
- You have difficulty working as part of a team

Requirements

- CDA or ECE credits (required)
- Previous childcare experience
- Ability to obtain required clearances
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
