Lead Carpenter - Construction

We are seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter in Berlin, VT to manage and execute custom home construction and remodeling projects while remaining actively involved on-site. This full-time opportunity combines advanced carpentry, team leadership, and project oversight to ensure high-quality residential builds. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with a strong eye for detail, capable of coordinating project teams efficiently and delivering exceptional client experiences throughout Berlin-area projects. Candidates should bring at least 5 years of carpentry experience and be ready to lead projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide carpentry crews and subcontractors on residential builds in Berlin, VT
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and specifications
• Manage job sites to maintain safety, quality standards, and schedule adherence
• Provide clear updates and expectations directly to clients
• Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure seamless project execution
• Mentor team members and enforce top-tier workmanship and safety practices

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience; prior lead carpenter experience highly preferred
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting architectural plans
