Lead Care Associate - Memory Care (MC)/Nights

We are looking for individuals who can embrace our mission to purposely brighten and enrich the lives of those we serve with HEART; Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork. This position is responsible for providing assistance to residents in Memory Care with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. This position supports the department manager with training of new staff and care management planning.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication (per state regulations), bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Upon direction of the Director of Memory Care, coordinate and conduct training of new staff members.
• Meet on a regular basis with the Director of Memory Care to review resident care issues.
• Serve as the staff and family resource when the director is unavailable or away from the building.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Level of Formal Education: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Years of Experience: 1+ years of experience preferred 

Type of Experience: Senior care or related field 

Special Certifications: May require a CNA or CHHA licensure or other state required training

Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.

Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills
