We are seeking an experienced Lead Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Golang to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems. Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems using Golang
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for high-performance applications
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across all backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Manage database design, queries, and integrations with external systems
• Implement efficient data processing and caching mechanisms
• Drive CI/CD practices and work closely with DevOps for smooth deployments
• Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and workflows
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technology strategy
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Golang
• Proven experience in building scalable and high-performance distributed systems
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API design principles
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems
• Experience with version control systems like Git and modern development workflows
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
