Lead Automation Tester / QA (Remote)

Location & Work Arrangement
- Remote / Work from home position
- Must be based in Klang Valley to attend one team meeting per week

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks within a Typescript-based ecosystem
- Implement a range of automated testing approaches including visual regression testing,
API contract testing, REST API testing, black box testing etc.
- Lead and mentor two junior QA engineers, guiding their transition towards automation testing and fostering a strong, automation-focused QA culture within the team

Requirements
- Proven experience in developing automation testing strategies, optimizing, and scaling test coverage
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.
- Early career experience as a software engineer or hands-on automation experience in start-ups, scale-ups, or smaller QA/testing teams where you implemented automation best practices
