The Opportunity

The Automation Manager will be responsible for leading the organization’s automation strategy and driving enterprise-wide RPA initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is key to advancing the company’s digital transformation goals. It offers the opportunity to design and implement scalable automation solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across business units.

What you’ll do

•
Lead end-to-end RPA and automation projects across business functions — from opportunity identification to deployment and optimization.

Define project scope, timelines, budgets, ROI, and key performance metrics; ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes.

Align automation initiatives with organizational goals, digital transformation roadmap, and operational efficiency targets.

•
Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across multiple functions.

•
Conduct workflow assessments to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.

•
Drive standardization and optimization of processes before automation to maximize value realization.

•
Establish governance frameworks, compliance standards, and documentation practices for all automation initiatives.

•
Ensure adherence to technology standards, quality guidelines, and audit requirements.

•
Monitor utilization of RPA licenses, platforms, and infrastructure to ensure cost efficiency.

•
Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies such as AI, ML, cognitive automation, and process mining.

•
Plan and oversee Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to test and evaluate new tools and frameworks.

•
Collaborate with IT and business leadership to integrate next-generation solutions into the automation setup.

•
Lead and mentor the RPA team based in India including solution architects, developers, and business analysts.

•
Ensure team members receive the right trainings, tools, and collaboration across the automation function.

•
Provide strategic and technical support during issue resolution, ensuring timely and effective problem handling.

Who you are

•
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

•
12–18 years of total experience with at least 5–7 years in RPA / Intelligent Automation leadership roles.

•
Hands-on experience with leading RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate.

•
Proven track record of delivering automation projects with measurable ROI and business impact.

•
Strong understanding of process optimization, governance, and change management.

•
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

•
Experience in managing automation teams, vendor relationships, and multi-project portfolios.

•
RPA Tool Certifications (UiPath Advanced Developer / Solution Architect, Automation Anywhere Master RPA Professional, etc.) (preferred).

•
PMP / PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred).

•
Exposure to AI, ML, or process mining tools (preferred).

Salary range
$160,000—$175,000 USD
