Lead AI Technical Architect (Financial Services)

The RoleCapco is seeking a Lead AI Technical Architect / SME with deep expertise in AI and the banking domain to support mission-critical initiatives for leading financial institutions. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, driving AI-enabled solutions that align with banking operations, regulatory expectations, and client objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Define use cases, product specifications, and roadmaps aligned to banking operations

• Bridge business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet client needs

• Translate business requirements into technical features, including scoping and prioritization

• Support stakeholder management and vendor/platform evaluation activities

• Contribute to AI/ML product development initiatives within financial services

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of related experience

• Strong background in banking (operations, product, risk, compliance)

• Experience with ML / AI product development

• Ability to translate business needs into technical features, including scoping and prioritization

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

Our compensation policies and salary ranges are designed to allow our people to progress through the salary range as they demonstrate strong performance and develop in their role over time. The base pay offered to selected candidates will be within the salary range and the placement will vary based upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.

$118,000—$152,000 CAD
