About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a professional Lawyer with strong commercial acumen and international experience to join a fast-paced, industry-aligned organization. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a law firm or multinational company, especially within the construction, oil & gas, or mining sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, supporting cross-border transactions, and providing strategic legal input across project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply, services, consultancy, EPC, and subcontract agreements
Advise internal stakeholders on legal and contractual risks, commercial obligations, and compliance issues
Provide legal support for tender processes, project execution, and post-contractual matters
Support or coordinate with external counsel in dispute resolution or litigation matters, when required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations relevant to the construction, mining, or energy industries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, operations, and project management
Ensure consistent contract management practices across multiple jurisdiction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent; admission to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, ideally with international exposure
Strong experience in commercial contracts review and negotiation
Industry background in construction, oil & gas, or mining is preferred
Involvement in legal disputes or contract claims is an advantage
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail, legal drafting skills, and business-oriented thinking
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a multi-cultural, cross-border environment.
Willing to work full onsite at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Monday - Friday, 7AM-4PM).
