Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate for the Right-of-Way Department will be responsible for reviewing and preparing various legal documents related to land acquisition, including complaints and affidavits. They will oversee the legal aspects of ROW grants and contracts, and prepare urgent pleadings as needed. The role includes handling expropriation cases, liaising with external counsel, and advising on legal matters affecting NGCP's rights. Additionally, the candidate will monitor the status of expropriation cases, provide legal assistance to project teams, and coordinate with the Regional Head and Legal Team on key legal issues. This position supports the South Luzon 230/115kV Transmission Project, focusing on resiliency and system reliability.
Requirements:
Graduate of Juris Doctor
Bar Passer
Active membership in the Philippine Bar Association
Proficient in speaking and writing in English
Good management skills
Knowledge in goal/target setting and evaluating accomplishments relative to goals/targets
