River Valley Lawnscape of Red Wing is hiring a dependable Lawn Care Laborer to join our team. This is a full-time, seasonal position with strong potential to turn into a full-time, year-round role for the right person. If you like working outdoors, staying busy, and getting the job done right without being micromanaged, this could be a great fit.
This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, shows up ready to work, and takes pride in physical, hands-on labor.
What You’ll Be Doing
Mowing and trimming lawns daily
Shrub and hedge trimming
Fall clean-ups (leaves, debris, property prep)
Snow removal and plowing during winter months
Operating light-duty equipment and power tools
Other general property maintenance tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Valid driver’s license
Reliable and dependable work ethic
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and stay on task
Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather
Previous lawn care or property maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
Work Schedule
Summer Schedule:
Four 10-hour days (Monday–Thursday), weather permitting
7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Hours may vary based on workload and weather
Winter Schedule:
On-call for snow removal
Weather dependent
Pay & Compensation
Summer: $17–$21 per hour, based on experience
Winter Snow Removal: $30 per hour
