The course will explore the U.S. system including separation of powers, the relationship between policy and law in the United States, the interaction between statute and regulation, roles and responsibilities distributed across the interagency and branches of government, and the increasingly important role of technological awareness in effective rulemaking in the United States. Please note that this course will be allocated to a member using an exemption as per article 15.03.03 of the MCLIU collective agreement.
