Laundry Attendant | AYANA Komodo

AYANA Hospitality is looking for a meticulous and skilled Laundry attendant to join our Housekeeping team at AYANA Komodo. In this role, you will be responsible for handling daily tailoring tasks, including uniform alterations, linen repairs, and sewing new items in accordance with hotel standards. Your strong technical expertise in sewing and familiarity with overlock machines will ensure high-quality, neat, and precise results.

• Perform timely repairs and alterations on uniforms, linen, and upholstery, including stitching new items in accordance with hotel standards.
• Measure, create, and adjust uniforms for employees, while handling basic alteration requests from guests.
• Maintain and repair all staff uniforms, ensuring items are in proper condition before distribution.
• Manage tailoring operations, including organizing fabric inventory, monitoring supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
• Support overall housekeeping functions by completing assigned tasks, maintaining daily work records, attending training, and sharing knowledge with the team.

Requirements:
• Relevant work experience, minimum 2 years as a seamstress
• Technical skills in sewing, uniform alterations, linen sewing, and familiarity with overlock machines
• Neatness and quality standards, understanding staff fitting sizes, straight and neat stitches
• Speed ​​and productivity, with a minimum target of 20-30 alterations per day
• Attitude and discipline, meticulous, patient, punctual, and able to work in a team.
