About the role
We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team, working on Saturdays and Sundays to support the smooth running of our care home. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards, supporting residents’ dignity, and contributing to a caring environment.
As our Weekend Laundry Assistant, you will:
Wash, dry, iron, and fold residents’ clothing and home linen
Ensure laundry is correctly labelled and returned to residents
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the laundry area
Work closely with care staff to meet residents’ needs
Follow infection control, health & safety, and COSHH procedures
Who We Are Looking For Someone Who is:
âś” Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
✔ Caring and respectful with residents’ dignity in mind
âś” Willing to follow health & safety, infection control, and COSHH procedures
âś” Previous laundry or care home experience is desirable but not essential
