Main Responsibilities
• Lead the UK launch strategy for a first-in-class therapy in Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes, ensuring all activities are aligned with global frameworks and local market needs.
• Collaborate across teams including Commercial, Market Access, Medical, and Public Affairs to deliver a cohesive and impactful launch plan.
• Define and track success measures by establishing key milestones, timelines, and performance indicators to monitor progress before and after launch.
• Manage the launch budget by overseeing resource allocation, monitoring expenses, and providing regular financial updates to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate risks by proactively developing contingency plans to address challenges that could affect launch timelines or deliverables.
• Drive effective governance and communication by coordinating leadership meetings, enabling swift decision-making, and keeping global and local stakeholders informed of progress.
• Support team development by helping onboard new roles, identifying skill gaps, and fostering ways of working that promote agility and collaboration.
About You
Experience:
• Launch expertise in specialty pharmaceuticals, rare diseases, or diabetes, with a track record of successfully bringing products to market
• Strategic marketing background that includes developing therapeutic area strategies, positioning, and building awareness in new disease areas
Soft and Technical Skills:
• Collaborative leadership with the ability to influence and align diverse teams across functions and regions
• Project management capabilities to coordinate complex launch activities, simplify processes, and maintain momentum
• Communication excellence in presenting complex information clearly to various stakeholders, from senior leadership to cross-functional teams
• Customer insight with experience in external stakeholder engagement and understanding market access dynamics
• Problem-solving approach that can synthesize complex information and develop practical solutions
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field
Languages:
• Strong English proficiency in both written and verbal communication
