Laser Operator Second Shift

Shift: Monday through Thursday 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM

3 Day Weekends (off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Essential Functions Statements

Ability to setup and operate CNC laser machine

Knowledge and hands-on operation of CNC laser for metal fabrication including program retrieval, proper gases, proper nozzles, lenses, etc.

Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication process and concepts.

Provide routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs to CNC laser machine.

Setup metal fabrication machinery and other production necessities to produce "0 defect" parts.

Check accuracy of work using blueprints and precision measuring tools.

Accurately complete work orders with correct quantities of good and defective parts.

Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:     

High School Degree or equivalent and/or related experience required.

Experience:    

Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.

Ability to properly document paperwork.

Previous experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication management and/or operations of low and mid-sized volume metal fabrication preferred.

Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.

Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.
