Laser Operator

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Laser Operator in our Bowling Green, Kentucky Stamping Facility. The Laser Operator is responsible for operating the Robotic Laser Cell and producing quality parts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience reviewing part specifications and defects, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary Responsibilities:

Run jobs on laser and press equipment ensuring all parts meet tight manufacturing requirements 

Responsible for quick turnaround of parts and accuracy within established guidelines. 

Safety and maintenance of laser area 

Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment 

Perform dimensional checks on parts using various measuring tools 

Maintain cleanliness of work area 

Complete all paperwork relevant for the shift  

Minimum Requirements:

Ability to meet quota and standards by performing repetitive tasks

Ability to retain information and communicate effectively

Ability to stand for long periods of time/ lift 23 kg (50 lbs)

Preferred Requirements:

Mechanically inclined
