Job Summary:
The Laser Machine Programmer will be responsible for programming and maintaining client part files, interpreting engineering blueprints, and ensuring that laser-cut parts meet required specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience programming lasers for sheet metal and tube fabrication, as well as proficiency in industry-specific software.

Essential Functions:

Utilize work orders, blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions to determine job requirements.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications.

Program and maintain current file revisions of client parts.

Interpret engineering blueprints to draw pattern layouts of parts using TruTops Boost and BLM ArTube software along with SOLIDWORKS.

Work closely with clients' engineers to ensure accurate execution of designs.

Maintain laser machinery and report all issues promptly.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.

Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.

Ability to lift at least 55 pounds.

Good vision required, with or without corrective lenses.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience programming lasers for sheet metal and tube fabrication.

Experience with Trumpf laser and BLM tube laser preferred.

Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Strong knowledge of material properties and the application of mathematics and dimensions to production machinery and tooling.

Proficiency with software including TruTops Boost and ArTube.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 - $55,000 per year (based on experience).
