Language Engineer (Spanish), Global Siri

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong Machine Learning background to join our team shaping the future of Siri in Global markets by integrating latest deep learning developments. As part of this group, your work will range across different disciplines, this involves employing advanced machine learning models, adopting models in global markets, data generation experiments while also being focused on the integration of personalized experiences to each of our customer.

Description
As a member of our dynamic and fast-paced group, you'll play a key role in crafting and bringing to life innovative solutions that delight millions of customers across the globe. You will lead work streams to design and implement large-scale ML solutions integrating latest state of the art research in our global products to advance our customer experience. While collaborating with partner teams across Apple, you'll contribute by sharing your experience, delivering architectural proposals that account for international market needs, and maintaining an ethos of continual learning from your counterparts. This position is at the intersection of Machine Learning and Software Engineering. The ideal candidate will have expertise with large language models, machine learning lifecycle management, data generation methods, model training & validation coupled with strong fundamentals and passion in software engineering and system architecture. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to formulate a research problem, design, experiment, implement and communicate solutions.
Product-focused with a strong emphasis on end-user experience.
Experience in object-oriented software design and programming
Experience writing software in Swift, Objective-C, C++ or C; experience on Apple platforms preferred
M.S, Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum Qualifications
Being a native level speaker in Spanish, with good familiarity with the culture of Spain or Mexico
Experience in applying machine learning and NLP techniques to deliver products, with a solid understanding of ML concepts
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience for the Spanish speaking market
Good understanding of Data Generation Approaches, LLM fine-tuning, and optimization
