We are looking for a Gardener with horticultural experience to join our dynamic team. This position is a full-time role (permanent and seasonal options available). Hourly rate of $22.00/hour. You will be offered a great team environment and work/life balance. This position includes:

During your time with us you will be required to plan, plant, and maintain established flower beds and planters, prune mature shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, remove damaged leaves, branches and twigs using mowers, tractors and other hand and power tools. You will plant and maintain flower beds or other decorative planters, maintain and sharpen tools and make minor repairs to equipment as required and assist with the scheduling and implementation of contractor services. Plant, fertilize, water, and treat with herbicides and insecticides to maintain lawns, flowers, trees and shrubs.
You will be asked to clean drainage ditches and culverts, maintain irrigation systems, and remove garbage and debris from outdoor areas. You will perform routine cleaning and maintenance of gardening and grounds equipment. May operate trucks and various motorized equipment such as mowers, blowers, tractors, two-axle vehicles, chain saws, string trimmers and pruning saws.
You will attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as needed, comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures, perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned as required.
You are a dynamic and reliable person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You are committed to quality assurance and safety. You possess the following skills and abilities:
• A minimum 1-2 Years of horticultural work experiences preferred.
• Valid class G drivers license.
• Strong work ethic and attendance record.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• A strong understanding of horticultural development.
