Job Description
Job Title: Landscape & Licensed Treatment Technician
Location: DFW Area Type: Full-Time | Field-Based
Company: MasterScapes – Cultivating Beauty
About the Role
MasterScapes is growing in DFW, and we’re looking for a skilled, motivated Landscape & Licensed Treatment Technician who wants to help shape the future of our branch. If you love the outdoors, take pride in high-quality workmanship, and enjoy the balance of turf treatment and landscaping projects, this role will feel like home. You’ll handle licensed chemical applications (pre-emergent, post-emergent, fertilization, and specialty treatments), complete small landscaping jobs, perform irrigation repairs, and support enhancement projects that improve our clients' outdoor spaces.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned Landscape and/or Licensed Treatment Technician with at least five years of experience across landscaping, turf care, or irrigation installation/repair. They are self-motivated, highly organized, and thrive in environments where they can pivot quickly between projects without losing focus. They bring an unrelenting work ethic, strong multitasking ability, and deep pride in the quality of their work. Outside of work, they are drawn to the outdoors—hiking, fishing, hunting—and often spend weekends improving their own landscape or learning more about agronomy and ethical chemical application. They are pursuing a role that offers independence within a financially strong, fast-growing company with a healthy, values-driven culture. They are motivated by proving themselves, building something meaningful, and advancing their career. They struggle in environments with constant supervision, lack of progress, or teammates who don’t carry their load. Their long-term vision is to help expand and strengthen the DFW branch’s treatment and landscape offerings. You’ll find them at kids’ sporting events, church, community gatherings, or at industry conferences. They’ll love MasterScapes for its stability, innovation, strong culture, and team of licensed subject-matter experts who work together with a “family first” mindset.
What You’ll Do
· Safely apply agronomy treatments as a licensed applicator (we are willing to train and grow you towards licensure), following ethical, efficient, and environmentally responsible practices
· Complete small landscape installations and enhancement projects with precision and pride
· Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, including valves, heads, controllers, and minor line work
· Move smoothly between work types—treatments, landscaping, irrigation, detail work—based on daily needs
· Maintain clean, organized equipment and detailed application records
· Collaborate with teammates to ensure jobs are completed accurately, on time, and with MasterScapes-level quality
· Represent MasterScapes with a positive, professional attitude in client interactions
Who You Are
· At least 5 years of experience in landscaping, agronomy, or irrigation installation/repair
· Licensed in chemical application (or be willing for us to grow you towards licensure)
· Self-motivated, organized, and able to shift gears naturally throughout the day
· A problem-solver with an unrelenting work ethic and pride in doing things right
· Multitasker who enjoys independence but thrives on being part of a strong team
· Passionate about the outdoors and constantly improving your craft
What Motivates You
You’re looking for a place where your independence is respected, your skills matter, and your effort is recognized. You want to work with a company that’s stable, growing, and team-oriented—where innovation is valued and leaders invest in your success.
Why You’ll Love MasterScapes
· Strong company culture with family-first values
· Licensed subject-matter experts who support and mentor you
· A growing DFW branch with room for advancement

· A company committed to innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
