Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist to join our expanding horticulture and landscaping team in Scituate, MA. This full-time position is ideal for hands-on professionals with 2–4 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container planting. The role focuses on managing container gardens, seasonal plant displays, and general landscape care for residential and commercial properties throughout Scituate, ensuring thriving, visually appealing outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and maintain container gardens, planter arrangements, and landscape beds for Scituate locations.
• Design and implement seasonal plantings, including annuals, perennials, shrubs, and ornamental varieties.
• Conduct pruning, fertilization, and pest/disease management to promote healthy plant growth.
• Perform routine landscape upkeep such as watering, weeding, soil care, and general maintenance.
• Work closely with clients and team members to achieve desired garden aesthetics.
• Monitor plant health, identify issues early, and apply appropriate horticultural solutions.
• Safely operate landscaping equipment, irrigation systems, and hand/power tools.
• Support seasonal initiatives, including spring and fall container installations.

Requirements:
• 2–4 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container gardening.
• Strong knowledge of plants, soil management, fertilization, and pest control.
• Competent in operating landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and power equipment safely.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with landscape design principles is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
