Join one of the largest landscape companies in Central Illinois! For over 60 years Green View has been locally owned and committed to providing award-winning landscape and maintenance services. We are looking for a highly motivated Landscape Crew Member to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow in their career in the landscaping industry.
Responsibilities:
Planting, pruning, mulching, and installing garden features
Perform construction tasks including paver & stonework, and grading
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Lift 50-75 pounds on a routine basis.
Seasonal snow and ice removal, when needed
Drive, use, maintain, and properly operate landscape equipment and vehicles
Requirements:
Prior landscaping experience is preferred but not required
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
Basic knowledge of horticulture and plant care, or willingness to learn
Have reliable transportation, with a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
Team oriented with a strong work ethic
Commitment to safety and attention to detail
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
