About the Role

As a Landscape Construction Worker, you’ll be part of the backbone of our team. You’ll work on a variety of high-end residential projects and gain experience in nearly every aspect of landscape construction. This role is ideal for those who enjoy variety in their work and want to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities

Install hardscape elements including natural stone and concrete paving products

Perform basic carpentry tasks such as decks, fences, and simple concrete formwork for footings

Complete rough and fine grading and install drainage systems

Assist with planting specimen trees, shrubs, and building out garden beds

Install natural and synthetic lawns

Support irrigation installation and assembly

Operate mobile equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators

Use laser levels, spirit levels, and stringlines to ensure accuracy

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient job site

What You Bring

Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or construction is an asset

Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (shovels, rakes, drills, saws, grinders)

Ability to read measurements and understand basic layout principles

Comfortable working outdoors year-round in a physically demanding role

Strong work ethic, teamwork, and a positive attitude

Good references – two required from previous roles

Bonus: Experience using the 3-4-5 layout method (Pythagorean theorem) to check square and maintain accurate site layout

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive wages: $23–$30/hour depending on experience
