Position: Landscape Construction Worker - Planting and Softscape
We are currently seeking an experienced landscaper with a background in planting and softscape to join our growing team. This role sits within our landscape construction division, with a focus on planting and horticulture. We are looking for someone who takes pride in high‑quality craftsmanship, has a solid foundation in planting and landscape installation, and enjoys creating beautiful, long‑lasting outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, grass, and container stock according to horticulture best practices
Soil preparation, amending, and grading to support long‑term plant health
Proper planting techniques including spacing, staking, mulching, and root care
Assisting with irrigation installation and basic troubleshooting as it relates to plant material
Fine grading, garden bed shaping, and site detailing to achieve a clean, finished look
Ongoing collaboration with hardscape crews to ensure seamless project integration
General site duties including material handling, trenching, and maintaining a tidy and organized worksite
Safe operation of mobile equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators (training provided)
May also assist periodically with:
Retaining walls, paving, pathways, and other hardscape features as required by project scope
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or landscape construction required
Strong understanding of planting best practices
Physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors year‑round
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Pride in workmanship and strong attention to detail
Two recent work references required (from the last two roles; references will be checked)
