Job Description

We are looking for a Landscape Construction Foreman to lead landscape installation and construction projects in the Walpole, Massachusetts area. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating daily site operations, and ensuring landscape construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. The position requires strong leadership in the field along with hands-on experience in landscape construction and installation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead landscape construction crews on active job sites

• Coordinate daily project activities including scheduling, materials, and equipment

• Oversee installation of hardscapes, planting, grading, drainage systems, and landscape features

• Read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, and specifications

• Ensure projects are completed according to schedule and quality standards

• Maintain job site safety and ensure compliance with safety protocols

• Communicate project updates and field conditions to project managers and office staff

• Train and mentor crew members to improve productivity and workmanship

• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and client expectations

Requirements:
• 3–7 years of experience in landscape construction or site development

• Experience supervising field crews or leading landscape installation teams

• Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods including grading, planting, and hardscape installation

• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and construction drawings

• Experience operating landscape construction equipment preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage field challenges effectively

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical job site tasks as required
