Landscape Architecture Technologist – Markham (Hybrid)

As a Landscape Architecture Technologist at AECOM Buildings + Places, you’ll support the design and delivery of parks, transit facilities, civic campuses, and public spaces—working alongside experienced designers and engineers in a collaborative studio environment. This is a new role for the team.

What You’ll Do

o   Support project teams in the preparation of technical drawings and documentation from schematic design through tender and construction.

o   Develop detailed landscape construction drawings (2D and 3D) including grading, planting, hardscape, details, and schedules.

o   Coordinate drawings with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and constructability.

o   Assist with permit submissions, agency coordination, and responses to technical comments.

o   Preparation of 2D and 3D presentation materials.

o   Maintain organized project files and contribute to quality control and documentation standards.

What We’re Looking For

o   Diploma or degree in Landscape Architecture Technology or a related field.

o   2+ years of professional experience supporting landscape architecture or urban design projects.

o   Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite

o   Experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, or other 3D/BIM tools

o   Exposure to public realm projects such as parks, streetscapes, transit facilities, campuses, or municipal infrastructure is preferred.
